INTRODUCING SMARTBRIDGE
SmartBridge is a security product linking CAC/SmartCard authentication to industry standard OAuth/OIDC compliant SSO frameworks.
One of the major hurdles government buyers face in acquiring best of breed COTS softwares is a lack of security or incompatibility with DoD and Civilian Federal Government CAC/PIV authentication. SmartBridge solves this problem by providing a CAC/PIV barrier to an existing system, extending the strong, binding nature of CAC/PIV security without major code changes or impact in functionality.
PRODUCT FEATURES
CAC Validation
The core of SmartBridge, this is your link between CAC/PIV cards and systems with OAuth2 authentication. The CAC Validator reads your CAC/PIV card and securely confirms your identity.
SmartOCSP
Our own stand-alone system to confirm CAC/PIV identities that implements the Online Certificate Status Protocol (OCSP) that will work with SmartBridge or other identity providers.
DoD Compliant Logging
Our logs comply with all DoD cybersecurity standards, and provide administrators with real time information on usage, errors, and other vital data to keep systems secure and functional.
SmartMFA
SmartBridge’s multi-factor authentication (MFA) service extends CAC/PIV security to hardware and environments not CAC/PIV enabled while maintaining security standards.
Admin UI
A user-friendly interface for SmartBridge administrators to aid in securely configuring the system during the deployment process. The AdminUI aids in initial permissioning for administrators, logging endpoints, and more.
Simulated CAC
SmartBridge’s SmartCert feature allows developers and testers to create and manage “Simulated CACs” instantly. These digital certificates are fully compliant with PKI standards and function the same as a certificate on a CAC for testing purposes.
CAC ENABLING A/R V/R TRAINING FOR THE AIR FORCE
MOTAR is the United States Air Force’s chosen platform for extended reality (XR) training experiences.
Maintaining security with XR devices and peripherals is crucial to maintain operational security for our armed forces. MOTAR has chosen to use SmartBridge to CAC enable the platform and extend CAC security to XR devices. A SmartBridge enabled MOTAR allows XR experience providers to focus their efforts on creating immersive, highly realistic training experiences and host experiences on MOTAR behind a secure CAC boundary provided by SmartBridge.
